What if you don't need help, but space for realizing that what you already know?

Many of us are taught to ignore the signs. We stay in our minds, while intrusive thoughts, vague physical symptoms, indescribable feelings in our belly have been showing up for months already... We call it tension, 'a difficult phase', or even burn-out. We are used to framing this as something bad.

When I was going through "burn-out" (awakening of my intuition), it felt like many people felt sorry for me. I got offered all kinds of help. Psychologists, books, things that worked for them and therefore for me (?), etc. And my past-self took any external offer to feel better.

Although the intent was nice, it would have helped me more if people just congratulated me with my "truth radar" going off and gave me space. I was filled with negative thought patterns and working in an environment where people were always stressed out. No wonder I felt unhappy.

And feeling unhappy, was the healthiest and therefore best thing that ever happened to me. It was the start of my intuition waking up, guiding me into a happier, more authentic and vital version of myself.

I already knew this, from the inside. I just needed space to feel and acknowledge.

Can we give ourselves ánd each other this judgement-free space and time? Can you tell your stressed colleague to take the week off? Can you ask your manager for postponing the deadline? Congratulate your intern for recognizing their limits?

If you resonate with any of this, maybe you don't need help, you need space for your intuition to wake up. You're not sick because of the symptoms, you think you're sick because you ignore the healthy signs.

I share about intuition and consciousness in work(life). Follow me for more.

What if we work with presence, instead of pressure?

Last year I had the honour to visit Osho’s meditation resort in Puna, India. While I am a strong believer of the idea that wisdom comes from within, and is not to be found anywhere outside of you (als
